Rose is a designer, illustrator, teacher and the driving force behind the look, feel and vibe of The Bucket. From the very beginning, she has been instrumental in bringing life to the topic of mortality. Rose’s design career began in 1983 in Boston and then went south…to Philadelphia, that is, where she laid down roots as principal of her own company, DiSanto Design. Aside from The Bucket, Rose’s passions include Paul Newman’s The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp where she has volunteered as a counselor since 1989. She is also Community + Civic Engagement Director for AIGA Philadelphia where she leads a new initiative that seeks to engage their membership of creative thinkers, problem solvers and designers with the greater community at large.
